5th August, Day 20:
Isabel and I woke up at 10:30am, grabbed a quick breakfast and headed off to Harrods for the launch of Justin Bieber's someday fragrance! Boys in purple t-shirts sprayed us and the girls asked us for a photograph with them and a life size image of JB. Isabel's mum arrived and we bought the biggest bottle of perfume and whatever came with it! Then we went to a hat shop called New Era where I bought two hats. While waiting for our udon noodles to arrive we bought sweets from an old sweet shop next door. Once we finished eating we went to Regents Park. We wanted to paddle on a big paddling boat but Isabel's mum Florence didn't want too because she had a skirt on, so we me, Isabel and Lucas paddled in some bad small boats. We finished our ice cream and went to a great playground and took photos. We returned to Isabel's flat and went across to Bryanston Sqaure to take some pictures of us planking. We were playing baseball with Lucas' mitt it was fun! We also went to a great thai restaurant where I had fried rice and chicken curry.
4th August, Day 19:
We picked up my friend Isabel from her flat in marble arch and took the tube to harrods. Dad met up with us after lunch and we walked to the Serpentine lake in Hyde Park. They were preparing for the london triathlon around the lake. It started to rain, so we rushed to the nearest hotel, which was the Hyde Park hotel it was very smart, with bell boys in top hats and marble everywhere. We had cocoa and biscuits. After the rain stopped, we took a taxi back to Isabel's flat to pick up her clothes for a sleepover. We went to Covent Garden to watch Lion King :) IT WAS GREAT! after the amazing performance we went back home and slept.
3rd August, Day 18:
On the move again! Our friends from Malaysia, the Braidie's, have let us stay in they're house in East Sheen. Dad went to get the keys with a van full of all our luggage and then met up with us at Westfield shopping centre in Shepherd's bush. I got bored with the shops, so Dad and I went to the park where I had a swinging competition with a Somali girl I won! We then had a pizza and caught a bus and the train back home.
2nd of August, Day 17:
Surprise surprise-we got up late! Dad had to see his friends for lunch, so we followed him to the tube station. He went to Goodge Street and the rest of us went to Harrods. I found the Harry Potter elder wand that my friend Ariadna wanted. We had lunch in the frozen yoghurt section of Harrods, then we went to check if I could get my ears pierced. We booked an appointment for 1pm tomorrow. I'm a bit nervous about it. In the evening, we saw a GREAT MUSICAL called love never dies by Andrew Lloyd-Webber. The singing was fantastic and the storyline just carried you along. I was gripped from beginning to end. I clapped and cheered when the troupe came out for their applause. Then we had a long journey back to the hotel.
1st of August, Day 16:
It was another hot day in London, with clear blue skies. I started the day with a cool slice of melon. We met up with Alissa's old friend Alex, her Mum, brother Jack and sister Emma for lunch. We had burgers, chips and ben & jerry's ice cream. yum yum! Afterwards, we went back to the hotel while Alissa went off to the park with Alex. At 6:00pm, we took a taxi to Finchley Central to have a birthday dinner for Ren-he was 17. Before the others arrived we waited in Finchley park and had relay races, I fell into the flower bed and stepped on a acorn and I still won! The turkish food we had was good but a little bit spicy. We got back to the hotel after dark. I ♡ FACEBOOK!

31st of July, Day 15:
I woke up around 10:45, by 12:00 we had to be out of the room and ready to leave paris! At 12:00pm we all walked out of the hotel we were staying in and made our way to the Eurostar train station. we boarded the eurostar at 2:00 and arrived in London at 3:30. A taxi driver picked us up and took us to chiswick. When we arrived we met up with Han zhi and Uncle En hao as we settled in.
30 July - Day 14
I was so tired that I could not wake up to join Dad, Alissa and Ren in their trip to Le Louvre. Instead, I followed Mum and Aunty Kim on a shopping trip to Les Galeries La Fayette. I had my eyelashes lengthened so that I looked like a puppy. We returned to the hote with all our bags loaded with gifts for family and friends. Dad, Alissa and Ren returned at about 6pm completely exhausted. They had walked from Le Louvre to Place des Vosges, a beautiful square past the Ile de la Cite on the Rive Droite (right bank. We took the metro to St Germain for supper. St Germain is the Latin quarter on the Rive Gauche (left bank) and had a different atmosphere from the Rive Droite, which is more posh. I had cheese fondue but couldn't finish it. Outside our restaurant, a clown was imitating people walking by. He was very funny, epsecially when one woman thought he was her husband. She jumped three feet in the air when she turned to see him! We had another crepe - my third in one day - and went back to the hotel.
29th of July, day 13:
I had trouble waking up because of the fun time I had yesterday, but eventually we all headed off to Montmartre, the highest point in Paris. It was only 10 mins from our hotel. Mum and I were to lazy to walk the last 200m so we took the cable car called the funiculaire. Before we got on, an African man gave me a bracelet saying ' HAKUNA MATATA' which means Don't worry, be happy. Montmartre was beautiful-and crowded. We had lunch in a bistro run by someone who looked just like Zinedine Zidane!
The weather became more sunny, so we took the metro to Arcde Triomphe. it was a long climb to the top but it was worth it. We saw some arab breakdancer's who were really good. We then went to Pont de L'Alma and boarded a passenger boat called Bateaux Mouches for a trip along the River Seine. The weather was perfect. We saw Le Louvre, Notre Dame cathedral, La Musee D'Orsay, L'Ile de la Cite, les Invalides and the Eiffel Tower.
We had dinner in a smart restaurant close to the river, then walked along the Champs Elysees and the Tuileries. We saw people being fired into the sky by a reverse bungee jump machine. Boy, did they scream! I nearly fell asleep on the way home

28th of July, day 12:
Mum and Aunty Kim headed off to catch a bus in central Paris while I waited with Alissa and Ren for Dad to come back from dropping them off. We all went for brunch at a bar-tabac up the road. I had a beefsteak that was so tough it was like leather and I also had a lemonade drink called “Pschitt”!. Then it started raining! We dashed back to the hotel where we watched a group of people march by playing drums and shouting but none of us knew what they were shouting about!
Soon the rain stopped. We caught the Metro to Place de la Concorde and we then walked up the Tuileries. There is a staight line which runs through Paris from Le Louvre to Arc de Triomphe and part of that line is the Tuileries, gardens where you can walk and play around. We walked up to the Orangerie and saw Monet's painting of the Lily Pond – it's so big, it was shown in two huge rooms. The colours were really good and though the painting was nothing like a photograph, the impresssion it gave was very strong. To think that it was done over a hundered years ago is amazing.
We then had huge ice cream in the Tuileries. I chose a cone with dark chocolate and ginger bread flavours on it. I don't know how but I finished it! Then we went to the fun-fair where Alissa and I went up on this swing which rose way above the park. I screamed a bit but it was awesome! so was the bumper car ride I had with Ren afterwards. Mum and Aunty Kim joined us and we walked down Rue St Honore to Place Vendome. We saw the Ritz hotel where the Princess of Wales stayed just before she died in 1997. We then ate some scrummy pancakes called crepes and caught the tube back to our hotel.

27th of July, day 11:
We had to wake u early because we were leaving the apartment by 11a.m. to go to Paris on the Eurostar. We were showered and packed by 10.30, just in time for a bit of last-minute shopping! We caught a taxi to St Pancras International railway station where we met up again with Kim and Ren. We had a bit of a scrum getting all our luggage on board the train. One man from Hong Kong had a panic attack and started screaming and shouting, so he had to get off the train becauser it was so crowded! Eventually, the train left the stationand headed quickly and smoothly to the English Channel. It was so fast, my ears hurt when we wnt through a tunnel. I fell aslepp and was only woken up three hours later when when we had arrived at paris Gare du Nord station. Our hotel was right by the station in an are full of Africans wearing their traditional costumes – so colourful!. It was't smart but it was comfortable. We decided ti take a walk and ended up M=miles down the road in an area called La Fayette. By then we were starving, so we found a nice restaurant. Dad ate snails (yuck!) while I had boef bresaola which was also yuk! I ate Mum's roast beef instead. The walk back home was very tiring and it started to drizzle. In the hotel, I got onto Facebook then fell asleep.
26th of July, day 10:
5 of us set of at 9am on a tou of London to look at places where Harry Potter was filmed. It was great fun – we tried to run thrugh the wass at king's Cross but failed - we hit our heads instead! We finished up at Covent Garden. It was full of performing artists breathing fire, pretending to be statues, juggling chainsaws and breakdancing. We had a nice lunch then headed off to Waterloo theatre to watch The Railway Children. It was a great show and the set was well laid-out. The play had a happy ending as the children's father returned home and the Russian writer found his wife and child. I nearly fell asleep in the taxi home. As soon as I got to the apartment, I checked my emails and went to bed.
25th of July, Day 9:
Mum woke us up early because we were meeting up with my friend Ailsa and her mum Ilona. Dad bought me a chocolate crossant for breakfast. I prefer the ones in malaysia! Before meeting Ailsa, my sister Alissa met up with her friends Emily & Melissa. They dissapeared into Hyde park while we joined Ailsa and her mum for coffee in Starbucks it was 10am. It was such a nice day that we also went into Kenssington gardens. we bumped into friends from Malaysia at the carousel, then went to takr pictures of the swans in the pond. As we entered the gardens of Kenssington Palace, we were asked to write a secret wish on a piece of paper and put it in a capsule which was hung in a gazibo. I cant tell you what my secret wish was! We then crossed the park and arrived at Kenssington highstreet where we shopped at H&M and M&S. We were hungry, so we bought some food and had a picnic at Holland Park. Ailsa and I went to a great play area! where a little boy called Jason said he wanted to punch me and Ailsa in the face.. but he was ok. We then met a 4 year old girl called Elena. We became good friends as we played. She actually asked us to come to her 5th birthday party. We then hopped in a taxi to Trafalgar Square. On the way, we passed Harrods , Buckingham palce (the queen was in!) and the mall. Did you know Trafalgar Square backwards is Raglafart! :P We walked down White hall and tried to disturb the guardsmen at horse guards parade, past the priminsters house at 10 Downing street and then Big Ben, The houses of Parliament and the London eye came into view. My camera was clicking like chattering teeth! By 5:30pm, it was time for Ailsa and Ilona to catch they're train home. We went back to our apartment and went out to dinner with Uncle James and Lynne as well as Alissa's friends Mel and Em. By 10:30 I went home to fall into deep sleep.

24th of July, Day 8:
Today was the day we said goodbye to Cambridge. We popped in to say goodbye to Aunty Mary, Uncle Robert and our cousins. Flash was back from his Kennel. Tommy did his impression of a sumo wrestler. We then headed south to Anfield where we met up with Aunty Kim's gurdian's they were from Mauritius. We had lunch at the local garden center, I had roast beef. We said goodbye to Aunty Kim and Ren and drove to our apartment in Kensington Gardens Square in LONDON! On the way we saw a massive queue outside Madame Tussauds. When we arrived dad left to send our rented car back and me, Alissa and Mum went to Whitley's. Once everyone was back we had dinner then we went to sleep.
23rd of July, Day 7:
Today is the day of my Aunty Mary's 50th brthday. We got up slowly and had a quiet breakfast of croissants, bread and jam washed down with cocoa and vitamin pills. Before going to the party and Aunty Mary's house, Dad, Alissa and I went to the Church Square market to pick up the leather bracelets which had been made for me. Each bracelet had the name of a friend on it & they had spelt them all right!
We arrived at Aunty Mary's house at about 1pm and there were loads of my relatives there. My cousins had put their dog Flash in a dog hotel for the day because he's so big he would get in the way and eat everything. Everyone had a good time and we ended up giving Aubty Mary three cheers for being such a good egg. My cousin Thomas then gave us all chinese burns and ran off shouting "You'll never catch me!".
At about 5pm, we took my cousins Agnes, Dominic and Bridie to the River Cam, where we hired a punt and took it down the Backs. We passed by Queen's, King's, St Catherine'sTrinity, St John's and Magdalene Colleges. We all has a go with the punting pole but it was difficult to get through the heavy traffic of drunk punters who were wearing gowns becaue they had just graduated.
We then dropped off my cousins and went to Grantchester for dinner in a pub by the river called the Green Man. I had the leek and potato soup and finished the lot.
We got home after dark. I struggled up the steps to our apartment and went straight to bed.

22nd of July, Day 6:
We woke up at 8:30 and all took turns to have shower. We looked out of the window and the weather was warm when the sun was out, but pretty cold when it was cloudy. At 11:00, we all got into the MPV and drove into the city center. First stop was a visit to Sydney Sussex College. This was where my Uncle James & my grandfather studied. It was beautiful! I took pictures of amazing doors for my collection, I'm going to make a collage with them once I get back. We then played hide and seek in the Master's garden. My dad found me when I screamed. Then we went to Cambridge's biggest bookshop, Heffer's. By then we were hungry, so we had lunch at an Italian restaurant by the river Cam opposite Magdalene College. After lunch, we split up. Dad, Alissa and I went to order some bracelets for all my friends. While Mum, Aunty Kim and Ren went to Lions Yard. On our way to meet up, we saw this street entertainer. He had a GIANT hoop, he said that he had no idea what it was... but he climbed inside it as it rolled around the pavement. He was really good t keeping the crowd entertained! He spoke to us and said that we have come a long way, because I said that we are from Malaysia. We then met up at the end of Sydney Street. I bought a 3 dresses from Zara. Dad and I went back to pick up the bracelets but the market stall was shut down for the day. So we had some delicious shortbread in the church yard of St. Bene't's church instead. By this time my feet had blisters so we returned to the car. My dad took me to his old digs where he stayed in 1979 then we picked up Agnes, Dominic and Thomas. (my 3 cousins)
Mum and Aunty Kim had bought steaks for supper, so we picked them up on Kings Parade and returned home. It was crowded in our small apartment there were 10 of us in the living room. While Aunty Kim was cooking the steaks, the fire alarm went off! and we evacuated the apartment till the smoke cleared. By the time we got back in we were starving! we ate the steaks with mash potato, broccoli and gravy and then finished off with a Magnum ice cream. After we dropped off our cousin's I played a funny game with Ren in his room.

Ren came in and told us that Aunty Kim and my mum were an art gallery, so we made our way there. But they weren't in there so my dad texted my mum and told her that we are going to the market.
